Seems very busy lately. Though not much actually getting done. A lot of time spent sleeping. I'm pretty sure now that the side effect of being tired on the anastrozole is true for me. My day is divided into two parts. A morning where I get up and do things (animal chores and such, a little jewelry work) and then lunch. After that I collapse into a three hour nap that I am not that excited to get up from. Then comes late afternoon and evening where things seem pretty normal.
I saw my regular family doctor yesterday and then today I saw the cardiologist. The cardiologist was willing to spend lots of time going over the three tests I had recently (the 30 day event monitor, the stress test and the echo-cardiogram). I think I can understand what has been going on - well, not really - but enough to let it go and not worry about it for now. He was reassuring. I do have frequent palpitations, missing beats, early beats, late beats and extra beats (I joked that it is like my heart is trying to be musical with interesting rhythms) but they aren't serious at this time. He could give me something for them but he didn't think it was a good idea. Better to wait and watch instead of adding more drugs to my system. I agree. The heart itself is strong and functions well (except for the rhythm - and that is okay most of the time). So if I feel a "weak spell" coming on - just rest till it passes - note the particulars of it and let them know about it later. I will see the cardiologist in 2 weeks again to tell him if I have noticed any new bothersome episodes.
Tonight Dave and I took Andy for a run in the woods near Lamartine.
My feet got really dirty crossing a mucky place in the trail. It was good to get them clean and cooled off too.

Andy and his friend MoJo running. A neighbor up the road saw us and came to see who was in the woods. His dog Mojo loves to run and play - it was great for Andy. Andy hardly ever finds another animal who wants to play with him. Mojo was a good match in size and speed.
