Allegheny River.
Seemed like a very hot day today - I took it easy most of the day - reading, napping in the tent, puttering. In the afternoon Rossy and I swam in the creek - that was nice and cool. Then tonight Rossy and Sebby and I biked to Fisherman's Cove. That's the place that has a rope swing over where Big Sandy Creek goes into the Allegheny. I took the LX3 Lumix camera and had it set to dramatic black and white.
Sebby getting ready to swing.
Bikes. It was nice that someone set up a picnic table, fire pit and garbage can down there.
Fire pit.
Sebby, Rossy and swing.
I even gave the swing a try.
We saw a red fox on the way biking out - it looked barely bigger than a cat and was pouncing on something beside the bike trail. When it saw us approaching it disappeared. If it wasn't a fox then it was a very large long haired orange cat. I still think it was a fox though.
On the way biking back we started to hear thunder and before we got home, driving in the car, it was getting to be a pretty intense lightning and rain storm. We got wet getting the bikes off the back of the car.
