before I forget
Dave and I and Andy took a hike out to the tip of a high ground near Polk on game land #39 yesterday. We were hoping to find some big rocks on the edge of the drop off since that's where you find them so often around here. We did find some large ones but nothing spectacular.
A wide mowed trail that took us over half the way there. Then we headed into a woods with large trees and ferns.
Climbing rocks. We could barely see Polk Center. If it was winter, without the leaves on the trees I'm sure we would have had a better view.

Pink Lady's Slipper flower. I don't remember seeing one before.
