(no subject)
This morning this guy comes in wanting a couple of residential development permits. I haven't done residential permits since I was an intern and in Cornelius there were like a million things to check off: elevation, setbacks, landscaping requirements, etc. So, I tell the guy that Brent's out and I can't help him because I don't want to do it wrong. He leaves and a few minutes later Brent calls me and tells me to go ahead and do it. The only thing I apparently have to do here, is setbacks. I think that's odd...no landscaping? People aren't required to plant not even one tree? That's crazy. Oh well, so the guy fills out the permit and thank goodness I double checked it, because the part he was supposed to fill out was crazy wrong. So now, I'm waiting for him to get me the right information. TGIF folks. ;)
