Pretty Weather = Happy Erika!

WOW, there is less than a month of school left! People are starting to count down the days on their profiles...the time ticking quickly by this semester/year scares me! I am so frightened and excited of the real world. So stressed and eager about these final days at Appalachian. The other day Kelly, Erin, and I went to dinner and talked about what we would miss...I said my friends (I have found the most wonderful people here...and definitely kept some great old friends along this journey) and Dos Amigos, lol. Okay, so there are maybe a handful of other things I will miss...like the parkway, mountains, rankin science building, the Cooper....but there is so much I will not miss...the weather, the weather, the winter weather, the freezing weather...homework, Boone rent, Boone traffic, Boone gas prices, quantatative methods (PLEASE DEAR FATHER IN HEAVEN LET ME PASS. AMEN!), ASU's parking situation, Boone's parking situation, did I mention the wind chill?,research papers, dorms, campus food, ASU mystery letters, romane noodles, being at work at 6am...

Anyway, today I sent my resume and letter off...I really hope to get an interview. The thing that sucks, is that I think I would really like this town, so I hate it is my first resume...because the chances of messing up are so much higher! Lol, oh well, if it doesn't work out I know something else will come along...like that planning job in Lady Lakes, Florida...no thank you! Dr. Cooper is really pressuring me to apply there....I'm sick of Boone weather, but not of North Carolina...my home sweet home. Oh yesterday was an adventure in itself. Erin, Kelly, Kristen, and I walked Marshmellow on the greenway...and I got a flat tire. Crazyness! Having the flat made me think of Chris who once told me that if we hadn't met in Boone, had he never come to App at all he knows God would have given me a flat tire in Wilkesboro and he would have been the good guy that stopped to help me. Ahhh, my sweet honeybear! He has been doing such a super job of being supportive this month and last month as I have gone crazy with schoolwork! Gosh, it just makes me appreciate him so much. Mmmm...I love him something wonderful!

I have been sick since last Thursday...not sure if its allergies or a bug...I'm thinking a mix of both. It's kept me out of work for a day and a half and I lost my voice for three days! Today, Chris bought me some Claritin...see that's one of the many things I love about my Christopher...how dern thoughtful. In fact, I would call it romantic...my knight in his white car saves me from a coughing, sneezing fit. My hero! I know, he'd laugh and say I think everything is romantic...but the thing is with him, I think it really is. ;)

Okay, I better get to my portfolio...that is why I am at home. I came on livejournal to read about last year's APA conference and well, got sidetracked.

You all are the bestest in the whole world!
