I'm in CALIFORNIA!

Hello, hello everyone! The flight here was rather long and boring, thank goodness for the great book mom got me. It was acutally kinda funny because on flight from Memphis to San Fran the girl sitting next to me was reading something sappy to and she and I kept sniffling as we read our books and next to me was the basketball looking guy who must of thought the whole time...women! Anyway, yesterday Garrett, Joren, Eli, and myself hopped on the MUNI system (streetcars and buses) and went to see the Golden Gate Brige...gosh, we thought Boone was windy! I felt like I was going to get blown right into the Pacific. Fortunately it has not rained as much as predicited. It did rain almost all of Friday, but Saturday we only were hit by a short shower in our adventure. After going to the bridge we went to the Golden Gate Park which was amazing. Something smells so good in this town...some sort of tree or plant or flower. We haven't quite placed it, but in all the parks we have visted in the San Francisco bay area we have encountered this fresh, lush smell. One thing I love about planners is that we all really love parks! I mean, I guess not many people don't like parks...anyway, I am making some great memories here. Oh, back to our outting we lost Joren in the Golden Gate Park and he somehow found us...but we lost him again in the Buena Vista Park. He is the only one out of the five of us without a cell phone. Kevin went to the Saturday conference workshops and left before we had a chance to tell him we were taking advatage of the weather, so he has skipped the conference today to see the Golden Gate. I know this report isn't very well thought through, but there is such a constant line waiting to use the computers here, there are only 20 computers and 6,000 planners. I guess I will write more later.
