Roslin was right about what Boomer was doing, but wrong to back Chief into a corner. I'm not sure what other choice she had, but she played her part in forcing him to bust Boomer out.

she played her part in forcing him to bust Boomer out That's a great point! Even when, on paper, Roslin is "right," she's not exonerated from, as you say, her role in setting bad things in motion. I like the half-light/half-shadow of Roslin's character. Thanks for coming to visit my lj! ;D

Ehhh, yeah. I think they're making more of a point of the 'Cylons have feelings, too' than they were before. I wonder if that's going where it looks like it's going? I love that it's causing trouble in just the way it would for humans, LOL. I'm glad to see sharp-edged Laura back, however briefly, and I'm glad she didn't give in to Tyrol. He shouldn't have tried to use their history in that way, and the Cylons should be allowed to conduct their own affairs. But of course, that doesn't get into the business of 'the fleet''s motives in releasing Boomer for trial and almost certain execution...

OMG, too much at once. A thought-provoking ep, I'll give it that. And yes, the music was awesome. I want to hear the solo piano 'Roslin and Adama' that Bear did. (Yes, it really is the 'Laura & Bill Show'.) The S4 soundtrack had better be two discs. :)

OMGS, ((((zaleti))))! I just got your postcard; the North shore is just stunning. Volcanoes!!! and beaches!!! I'm moving tomorrow. *starts packing* To be honest, I think your postcard might be my very first view of New Zealand. (Well, besides photos of your garden, which I still DO equate with the entire country! Now I have images of my little Pukeko meandering through your garden. Really, I just ADORE him!!!!! That turquoise color is one of my favorites! Thank you so much! He and your postcard have a permanent place on my refrigerator. *tacklehugs you*) ;D You may be hearing more from Pukeko in the future, as he comes up with clever things to chirp at you. Hey, I just looked online, and did you know that NZ was the first country to give NZ the right to vote? Of course you knew that, but I didn't. *kicks self*

Re: cylon feelings: I wonder if that's going where it looks like it's going? And just where do you think it's going? Honestly, I haven't a clue. (Maybe you're hinting that cylons are actually humans who ( ... )

Oh YAY!! It arrived! :D And I'm so happy you liked the pukeko. They really are quite endearing - and they don't eat the rubber off your car like kea do, LOL.
Hee, yes, TPTB like to remind us about the women voting business every so often. There's a whole wall thing with art on it in town about that. It's kinda cool.

Cylon feelings... goodness, what was I referring to? Hee. I think it was more to do with everyone realizing that there isn't that much difference between humans and (most of the) cylons after all... leading towards some sort of cooperation or integration. I was being optimistic, but it looks like it might be happening, at least partly. You're right, there are more and more human/cylon pairings of different sorts and strengths... and what I like about this is that they all operate the same: it's just... life. That sounded trite, but it's true. Hmm ( ... )
