BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY MS. DOREEN GUTIERREZ!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL YOU GREAT DADS OUT THERE!

GOURDO'S CAFE

Yesterday, we went to Gourdo's Cafe at the Fort Strip for lunch with my grandpa, grandma and cousins, plus my aunt and mom. We ordered this Parma Ham pizza which was so good. It was really gooey, stringy, cheesy, well melted mozzarella cheese over a pizza crust that was thin and had parma ham and some (shitake or porchini, not sure) mushrooms over it. My mom got the specialty, the Pork Chops. They were good. I tasted it too. Mighty good! I ordered the Saffron Penne with Seafood which was good too but smaller than what I would expect. They had three prawns, 2 scallops (big ones, ha!) and a few rings of squid. We also saw Ruffa Gutierrez there. She had a body guard and two yayas with her. We left...and went to Raphael Ku's house for an update on the past assignments and a to get a photocopy of the stuff I didn't get to be prepared in advanced. We also bought a Caramel Frappucino Blended Coffee(not a Blended Cream!) from Starbucks, Venti size. It was much bitter than the Creams, duh! It was still good overall. Tons of HW was done after that. Ryan, his sister, Lisa and their parents came over to ask me how to use the music option for the N91. haha! My aunt got a bit of a mix-up and moved some stuff...which I solved in a jiffy. hehe. I just needed to refresh the music library. Ryan also asked for more MP3s, which I put into the MP3 player he brought. Lisa also used my YM for about an hour...putol putol. hehe. I had to do tons of "experiments" with Ryan's MP3 player and with Aunt Anita's N91.

*Note: No electronics were hurt in the process of experimentaion. haha!

Today, we went there again and this time it was just with my dad and mom. My dad and I ordered a Pork Chop dish each which was nearly as good as last time except the size. It was smaller than last time and much more well done than last time. Did I mention they're pork chops are BIG! Really big! Not like the ones you usually eat. They have the juiciest, tastiest, biggest pork chops you've ever seen. SUPER YUM! The only difference between yesterday and today's Pork Chops were that THEY DIDN'T PROVIDE APPLE SAUCE. I don't really like the apple sauce but they should still serve the customer the apple sauce. There were also more drippings yesterday and the asparagus yesterday was green (but very thin) asparagus. They gave us the white (but fairly fatter) asparaguses today. We sat by the pizza block...the wood block where they make pizzas so we got a great show of pizza making the entire time. hehe. My mom got a pasta...forgot what it was called but it had the word Guiseppe in it. They gave us, or rather my dad, a glass of white wine for free as part of the Father's Day promo. We also ordered the Fried Mozzarella but it was really good. Super cheesy, yummy and fattening. Oh yeah...there was this family beside us that demanded for scallops in their pasta (the Seafood Saffron Penne) because they didn't put any. They gave him 3 scallops! No fair! Two lang yung akin. hahaha!

We looked around for other places to eat next time after eating. We saw Gonuts Donuts, which had a small line and a D-A-D donut for Father's Day. We also saw a ice creamery called Cold Rock. They had the same concept of Edsa Shangri-La's HEAT, which is mixing the ice cream and the add-ons and mix-ins all together. It's an Australian brand. They even have a Super Shake which is four scoops of your fave ice cream mixed with the best milk. Yum pero mahal. I haven't tried it yet. I'm currently chatting with Coco and listening to the song I got addicted to, For A Moment. GRABE YUNG HW NAMIN THIS WEEK!

WARNING! READ THIS NOW!

Whenever you go to Ash Creek Center (or anywhere for that matter), DO NOT EVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN. Look around you and it is better if you DON'T go there unaccompanied. I won't go to Starbucks on my own anymore...even with classmates. That would be my first and last time.

Hay naku...back to work...nearly three-fifths done.
