FOOD SERVED ON MY GARNDPA'S B-DAY
There was extremely good food there again. Wan Chai serves good food. We had a buffet, the "Emperor's Buffet". It costs 280 pesos for dinner and 250 for lunch. We were on the second floor, Tomas Morato Branch.
Those that are underlined are the ones I got...I realized italicized is nakakhilo
They had Plain Rice and Yang Chow Fried Rice
Tausi (or Taosi) Fish Fillet with Tofu and Sweet and Sour Pork
Wanton Balls (those dimsum balls) and Seafood Roll (that mayo with seafood deep fried with a breadcrumb coating)
Beef with Oyster Sauce and Fried Crabstick (or something like that)
Two Kinds of Siomai: Beef and Pork and Crab and Corn Soup
and some other stuff I didn't get but was there but I forgot.
There wasn't any Peking Duck or Suckling Pig...boo!
I spent time with my cousins there. Mostly with Ryan. You'll hear more about him soon. Cathy, one of my other cousins, showed me a CD of her DVD collection (she is an official ANIME addict, worse than I am). I asked her to bring a sample kasi eh. hehe. She bought it from HK and she says it's really good quality (*as good or even better than my FY VCD's) but it comes at a hefty price. Most of them cost 200 HK $ for the entire series. It's still cheaper there than the FY I bought here. I'm tempted to buy from HK na tuloy! I thought of doing so before but I wanted to see how nice the CD/VCD/DVD looks. haha!
I also talked to one of my aunts and she said it is possible she can make a Pirena Pillow for me (not original like the one from Mister Donut) but I need to provide her with the picture/design in the center of the pillow. Hay...got to get working on that...need to learn Adobe Photoshop and I have to learn how to make the background design of Pirena. She doesn't have the same background (but very similar) as Amihan's.
------------
Today, I spent time with my cousins in Glorietta 4. We spent most of the time in the Food Court playing game boy and talking with each other. It's all we ever do. Only 2 families came (because only three smaller families from this family make up "Cousins Day"). Our family came with Ryan's family. Cathy's family didn't come today. Only we three make up the Cousins Day gang which, I organize by the way. Ryan's siblings also came: Lisa, the eldest and Liezl, the youngest and the cry baby. His mom came around 5 pm already since she needs to take care of the business. At around 6, we played in the arcade then went to NBS then went back to the Food Court to eat. There's so much to tell but I have no time to type it since it's medyo late na. :( Basically, it's all playing Game Boy Pokemon and well...let's not say the other one. :) Did I mention Liezl was a cry baby, whiner and very lazy? Her mom had to force Ryan to buy her a drink from Fruit Magic. She's 7 years old.
Anyways...tomorrow, I'm going to MagiKats to get a diagnostic test. We decided NOT to go to Dr. Macasiray's anymore for the check-up on Tuesday since my gums are well already (hehe. We can get stubborn at times. It seems stupid to go all the way to Makati just for a 15 minute check-up. Oh yeah. It takes about an hour to go to and from the clinic to our home.) and on Wednesday I'm going with my dad to work (not to help him in work, although I do sometimes but to also spend more time with Ryan. hehe.)
Did you know:
Did you know I learned about Encantadia last summer because I went with my dad to work and passed by GMA? I thought the billboard (it now has the Majika theme picture) said Enchanta but it turned out that it said Encantadia. It also turns out that Enchanta is the language of Encantadia. I still miss Encantadia. :(
