THE KNIGHTS TEMPLAR
Today, they featured the Knights Templar and the Holy Grail. Like all the documentaries of NGC, they leave you hanging. The Knights Templar left so many questions unanswered when they disappeared. Legends say they found the Holy Grail. No one really knows what it looks like. Holy Grail or SAN GREAL can be in the form of the cup/plate which Jesus used on the Last Supper, the head of John the Baptist or the last bloodline of Jesus. If you were to change the word SAN GREAL to SANG REAL, it would mean holy blood. This is what the last bloodline of Jesus meant. Rumor has it that Jesus and Mary Magdalene had sexual relations and have a child. If so, Mary Magdalene would be the vessel for the last of the Holy Blood. In the vow of the Knights Templar, they said they worship Mary. They did NOT specify which Mary they worship. The Virgin Mary, the mother of God who is also the vessel of the Holy Blood or St. Mary Magdalene.
They never specified so we still remain unsure. It is also said that the Pope made a deal with them to exempt them from taxes etc. so that they will not reveal the secret of the "SAN GREAL" that is if it really was about Jesus's descendants. They grew richer and soon established the credit system (like a debit card or something. similar to banks) and loaning. There came a time wherein the King of France had a great economic difficulty so he need lots of gold to pay his debts. He then decided to get the money from the Knights Templar. He tortured them to make them confess that they commited heresy, idol worship etc. Eventually, the pope gave in to what the king requested and that was to put them to justice and the group was disbanded. The last leader of the Knights Templar was burned alive. He muttered a curse before he died though and he said that they would put to Christ's Court in one year or something like that. In one year, both the pope and the king died. No one really knows for sure what happened to the wealth and the Holy Grail. Some people said it is buried in Rysson (or Syrron. something to that tone. haha!) Church. No one really excavated the place since they feared the old church would collapse despite the fact that there were clues that it is remodeled after the Jewish Temple which was the first meeting place of the Knights Templar. It is said that they founder of the KT got married and the person who built the Church is related to him. (does the word Sinclair or St. Clair ring a bell?) The Masons were also linked to the Knights Templar. They also featured some scenes from yesterday's episode.
Tomorrow, they will be showing a very scary episode: THE APOCALYPSE. If I am right, the episode on Thursday is the Gospel of Judas and the one on Friday will be about "Unlocking the Da Vinci Code". Discovery Channel will also be featuring "The Da Vinci Code Declassified" on May 8, 9 pm.

The way they dub anime sucks. They keep using the same voice actors over and over that it became so obvious. Not only that, they give awful translations (well, not so good) and change the ways things are pronounced. Examples:
The name Kawanakajima from Ultra Maniac became Kawanaka
Tsujiai (Tsu-ji-yay, yay sounds like die) from Ultra Maniac was pronounced as Tsujai (Tsu-jay, as in blue jay jay).
Yui from Fushigi Yuugi pronounces Seiryuu as Seru.
They spelled Miaka as Miyaka.
TERRIBLE! No offense to the anime they show. They air wonderful anime.
The Digimon dubs were good enough since I heard of them already at ABS-CBN.
In the same line as HERO (another anime channel run by ABS-CBN who has Filpino-dubbed animes), they dubbed one anime in Filipino (Initial D only). No offense to the language but it doesn't sound right when they speak Filipino. I mean..I've heard them speak Chinese in anime and it was horrible too. English or JAPANESE (yes please! with english subtitles) only.
Hay...Animax should really put more effort in hiring better voice artists, get the real English dubbed anime (the ones that the producers of anime give out) or just put the Japanese version back on TV.
Ultra Maniac had it's last episode today. I'm listening to the opening song now (since animes play the full version of the opening song on the last episode, ending part for those who don't know)
