Gimik

I HAD TO RETYPE THIS ENTRY AGAIN THRICE! ARGH! INIS!

PS. Since I got tired of typing the text over and over again I decided to install the speech recognition into our computer so that it would just type what I’m saying but the said method SUCKS because it did not type the desired phrases so yes, I typed all of this again on the third time.

I'm not sure if this is the first time I had a gimik but anyways...and yes, this is a long entry...

I went to Kumon for the last time and it turned out that my mom enrolled me in a new thing (much like Kumon only using a different method) also in same location under the same head instructor. :( Hay...so it turns out I still have Math to do. Kumon also gave me all the worksheets I failed to finish for the month already.

We went home after going there. My mom told told me had a change of plans which meant she won’t be going to the restaurant Pho Hoa (the one near our house) anymore but instead will be going to the Shangri-La. Since she said that, I asked her if I could go to the mall to meet up with friends. She said I should contact Francis right away and I did. It turned out that Francis did not go because he had to enroll for the high school. When I got home, I immediately logged on to YM so I could retrieve Luis’s cell no. I immediately called him to ask whether the gimik thing pushed through. He said CJ was gonna pick him soon. I immediately told my mom to stop preparing lunch.

We went to Shangri-La after that and I met up with Luis by the Blue Kitchen and waited for CJ to come out of the restroom. The original meeting place was supposed to be at Starbucks but I failed to see him there. We went to the Food Court afterwards to eat our lunch. I ate Salmon Teriyaki for lunch from Kitaro Sushi. CJ got some kind of Korean Beef and Luis got 1 pc. of Fried Chicken from McDo. He first thought of considering KFC though.

While waiting for the meal I ordered to be cooked, I realized that the food I ordered did NOT sum up to 236 pesos. I added the prices over and over again but I keep getting the same answer. I then decided to ask the cashier (I almost wrote cash register.). She recalculated it again and she realized that made a mistake. Of course, she gave me the correct and exact change after (she only gave me 4 pesos the first time but she gave me14 pesos after).

After eating lunch, we went to National Bookstore (NBS). Luis bought some stuff for school like a pencil case and some other stuff like banderitas (flags for the clearbook), Post-It Notes etc. He also wondered if his school stuff (pencils, correction tape, ballpens, scissors, stapler, glue stick) would also fit in the pencil case. I told him that we should try to gather stuff from NBS and test it out and it did fit. hehe. I also showed CJ and Luis the secret book I looked at last time I went to Shang’s NBS. He also found a book which he was looking for in that section. I was disappointed to not see any new Enca merchandise. Luis bought his stuff and got some kind of freebie (10 pesos coupon) with his Laking National Card. Luis explained that it wasn’t pronounced “Lake-ing” but was pronounced as “Lack-ing-Filipino word which means big”. Hay…not using the coconut. haha! CJ also decided to apply for a card for 60 pesos (for students only) [100 pesos (for adults and non-studes) or get it free with an accumulated 5000 peso purchase].

We went to Starbucks after and I decided that I could buy since it was nearly one month after I vowed I won’t drink Starbucks for one month. I bought my fave and usual…I got the tall size as usual and I realized that the grande size was just 10 pesos more expensive. We went to Power Station after that and we played some games. We got a VIP card and we chipped 50 pesos each. Luis chipped in 100 pesos. We decided to make this a “shared” card. The VIP card was named: “The ‘Kada”. haha! More info on the card:
Birthdate: July 26, 1992
Address: Xavier School, Greenhills West, San Juan
Email Address: (censored from public view in this entry)
Signature: (the Triquetra sign, the symbol of Charmed)
Picture: A group picture of the three of us.

After winning a game of Dayton USA (racing cars po) with Luis, I looked for the Starbucks drink and I realized it wasn’t where I placed it already. I saw some of the milky drink on the floor (tsk! tsk! tsk!) and saw the cup upright. The straw was also on the floor. I went back up to Starbucks to get another straw and another one so I don’t need to go back if ever it falls again. I also threw Luis’s drink away along the way. I immediately finished drinking my drink so it wouldn’t spill anymore. We left soon after.

We decided to get a barkada picture in Kodak. We had two poses, a classic pose and the fighting scene pose (had to argue with Luis for that to come into picture). I posed Wushu style, CJ posed a kicking pose while Luis tried to make a punch thing pose but his hands seems to overlap and looked like he was doing the “up you’re a**” sign. We headed to Radio City then to Tower Records afterwards. We went into Crossings then moved down and walked towards the inside entrance. The long walk confusion was my fault. haha! CJ bought a CD of Charlotte Church. We listened to music and soon left. My mom called so I had to go. We had one last check at Kodak and got back our pictures. I got two pictures (one pose each) since it was my first time to get these kada pics. I sound so weird and fake now saying these ‘kada terms. I don’t like using barkada, pare and such terms kasi eh.

I met my mom at Powerbooks (original meeting place was Starbucks too) and we went home. On the way down the escalator, Luis and CJ was also there. They were headed to Bench to buy some clothes. Luis wanted to buy a belt. I was happy I was able to meet my friends today.

Halos wala na kaming mata dahil nasisilaw na kami sa araw!

Today, there is no Enca farewell speeches commercials. :( Hay…I hope I get all 6. :(

You Try
You scored 34 for Consideration!

Not too bad - you do try to be considerate sometimes, and that is to be commended.

My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:

You scored higher than 11% on Consideration

Light showers
Your forecast: 60°F, 48 mph wind, 42% chance of precipitation

What your score means:

Please note that all variables are scaled to a range of 0 to 100. I'd like to present some of them differently, but the OkCupid system doesn't seem to allow independent scaling of variables.

Category names are not meant to be taken literally. They are only weather patterns that match your score for the three variables. A person might be classified as "hurricane" because he/she is outgoing, athletic and compassionate; it does not relate to any destructive behavior by any means.

  • Temperature measures your relationships with other fellow humans. A high temperature means you are caring and compassionate, and you tend to keep a personal touch with all your friends. A low temperature means you are more independent, and although you may like to hang out with your friends, personal life rarely enters the picture.

  • Wind measures your level of energy. A low wind says you are usually calm and composed, somewhat introverted, and perhaps do not prefer intense physical activities. A high wind says you are energetic, extroverted, and tend to lead an active lifestyle. Higher wind can also mean greater ambitions in life. In extreme cases and especially when coupled with high precipitation, high wind might suggest a tendency toward violence.

  • Precipitation measures your mood. A sunny sky, as you might guess, is associated with a bright, optimistic mood. People like this tend to be satisfied with their lives, and might take the effort to help make other people's lives better as well. A rainy sky would be the opposite: people in this category tend to be moody or depressed at times.

So, What do you think? Do the scores seem fair to you? If not, you can help make it better by sending me a message with your comments, suggestions, rants, death threats, whatever. Otherwise, your vote is very much appreciated. Thanks!
