Things I need to tell You

Mar 03, 2006 18:26

THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE POSTED YESTERDAY BUT DUE TO LJ PROBLEMS, IT WAS POSTED TODAY AT SUCH A LATE TIME. READ BELOW.

Today, many things happened.....and I want to tell you...yes, you!

OF 7B AND THEIR NEW HOBBY…(SORRY IF IT IS DISGUSTING and if I use certain terms…) (updated yesterday)

7B has finally gotten over their fad of pulling down people’s pants. They haven’t really changed their ways and have gone crazy over poking people in the as*. Yes, as in all the way into the hole! They do it by putting their fingers in a position much like the prayer position, with their fingers curled, except for the index and thumb fingers which face each other like the prayer position when it is straight. (looks exactly like Miaka when she was summoning to Suzaku; Fushigi Yuugi, click here to see sample position; that picture was a re-enactment of Miaka’s summoning of Suzaku) I was a victim of this trick, just today. Earle did it to me. It didn’t hurt much since it wasn’t very deeply in, but for some, it was pure pain. Since I knew that this was one of their tricks, I tried my best not to react, therefore not allowing them to see that their plan worked. Earle got shocked at what I did but Jus made a reason that I didn’t move because I “was so used to it because it happened to me many times with other people”. Hay naku…the people addicted to the different forms of sex…

OF XAVIER AWARDEES (updated yesterday)

Today, on my way to school, I remembered that today was the awarding ceremony of the Xavier Awardees. jason_francisco and I saw that note on the Subject Area Coordinator’s workroom bulletin board. So, I rushed through the corridor; I didn’t want to be late. Before I entered the 7B classroom, I saw
daddys_girl0301 and she looked as if she was reading something. I thought: Wow! A teacher is late. Turns out, after talking to
daddys_girl0301 today that she and I were not late; (let me use an adverb of degree to describe how late we are) we were ALMOST late since it was 7:20. So, I rushed down to the Sports Complex. Luckily, it hasn’t started. Then, I looked around and noticed that Bow was the first one in line. I was wondering where Lance is since Grade 7 Xavier Awardees were awarded during their graduation last year (well, at least I think they are). I asked Mikey if Timothy Chua was there. He replied: “No”. I knew that they were in front…..Then, Mr. Domingo requested silence. Everyone did after a few reminders. Then,
daddys_girl0301 came up on stage to be the emcee. It seemed surprising since she just came in for work a few minutes ago. ( read about daddys_girl0301 being an emcee here). She claimed to have screw-ups but I didn’t really notice any unless you mean slight hissing sounds when pronouncing the letter S…..hehe. This year’s Xavier Awardee awarding ceremony was slightly different from last year’s because first, it was held in the Sports Center and second, there was a short photo gallery “slideshow” of the awardee.

So, here are the Xavier Awardees of Grades 6 and 7 (in order of being called by Mrs. Estrelle Nabua); Sorry Grade 5, but I wasn’t really able to catch their names

RYAN CARL YU, 6A
JOSE LUIS YULO, 6C
TIMOTHY CHUA, 7D
LANCE CO TING KEH, 7B
ALBERT LAGMAN, 7C
MICHAEL TAN, 7F

Of all the Xavier Awardees, Lance had the most pictures. He even put a picture of his “ barkada” there (includes Lance, Anton, Timothy Chua and Kurt). I also noticed that the awardees of Grade 7 all put their grad pics there. Also, all the awardees mentioned above also had a picture of them being given of Xavier Award during the previous year since they are the exact same awardees of last year. By the way, during dismissal, I signed Ryan’s victory balloon. CONGRATUALTIONS TO ALL XAVIER AWARDEES! ALL OF YOU DESERVE IT. LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE EVEN BRIGHTER THAN BEFORE.

OF EXAMS UP AHEAD (updated today)

Exams are nearing….There are so much things to study……This is also the reason why I can’t watch Jesus Christ Superstar today…..I might watch next Sunday though. :) Anyways, this might be the last entry for this week. The next time I’ll update will be this Friday and it will be about the exams. Daming aaralin…! I might be commenting, but only until this weekend. I promised myself that I won’t LJ in any way during the exam days and during Sunday. Don’t worry; I’ll read all the entries I missed out and try to comment on them.

THINGS I STILL NEED TO STUDY FOR:

READING (focus: core words, poetry)
LANGUAGE (focus: correct us of prepositions)
MATH (brief review)
SCIENCE (still studying it)

I also need to study for this Monday’s test. Ackkkk! Have to start. Luckily, I can get reviewers from Luis Marcelo. Thanks Luis!

OF THE OFFICIAL END OF SUBJECTS AND STUDYING (updated today)

Today, Yesterday (English) and last Wednesday (CLE) was the last time we saw our teachers teach us in our classroom. It was so sad. I’m gonna miss Grade 7….it was a fun year and a very eventful one too. May I quote something that Lance said: “Guys, since this is my last year here, why don’t we make something like a list, similar to 101 Things I Won’t Forget about 7B. Then, we can put number 101 as ‘And most of all, I don’t want to forget you’…Guys, it’s been fun knowing you all and this is my last time to stand in front of you here as your president talking to you guys about stuff like this. Thanks for the great year.” He made it sound so sad...as if there’s still no grad practice. It’s so sad and touching…Waaaaaa!!!!!!

OF HATING AND GETTING MAD

Hating Myself: (updated yesterday)

It’s been three days since I’ve been recording episodes of this week’s Encantadia, Pag-ibig Hanggang Wakas and I just realized that the tape I am using now is the tape that I used the previous week! This means that all the episodes during that period of time was replaced with this week’s episode. I was planning to make a DVD set of the series but now, it seems that that wish is impossible. Again, I’m back to square one, waiting and hoping that GMA will release copies of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd installment of Encantadia. Waaa! :( So much for being self-reliant…

Getting Mad at Myself: (updated today)

Yesterday, while I was typing this entry, I was browsing through the link that I was supposed to link to one of my entries here. When I pressed back, the update region was already blank. Kakainis! Kaya nga, ngayon, I’m typing it all over again and typing it in MS WORD so I can save it. I didn’t know how to retrieve my autosaved draft from LJ. hehe.

Mikey Getting Mad: (updated yesterday)- uses terms from Imea Livea Diwata for confidentiality. :)

THIS ENTRY STILL DOES NOT PROMOTE WAR.
Mikey was one of our “allies” against the “Etherians” but today he got mad at Var, Francis and CJ. So much for the “puwersa ng mga diwata”….. Var told CJ and Francis about some kind of phone call and wouldn’t tell Mikey. I didn’t know it either but I didn’t get mad. Mikey felt the feeling of not being trusted which I also feel towards someone sometimes which I rather not mention here. :) Today, they patched up already and Var told him about the phone call. Varrick didn’t tell me but I knew from a source….Source will be kept SECRET.

OF STARBUCKS (updated yesterday)

Entry is dedicated to
tomasu_san .

I want to know that “formula” you use for your typical Starbucks drink. Pls. also state price. Thanks. I’m planning to try it soon, during the grad practice days.

OF PISAY (PHILIPPINE SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL) (updated yesterday)

Many of my friends are going to Philippine Science High School. I’m being left behind. :) It’s so sad. To know who passed the test, click here.

Decisions of my friends:

JOAQUIN ALMIRANTE, undecided, very unsure
JOSEPH GUEVARA, undecided, depends on the choice of Joaquin and his other friends
LANCE CO TING KEH, 80% going

tomasu_san, possible “goer”, will take test next year

This is where friendships are tested the most, when they are put in distant places. That’s why YM, or e-mail or even text is so popular; because it helps us in communicating with people whom we don’t usually talk to everyday. Let me quote Joaquin Almirante: “Friendship is like a plant, if you don’t water it, it will die.” Now, let me make my own friendship quote.

“Friendship is not measured by the benefits that you get from it or the number of friends you have. It is measured by the amount of time you spend in nurturing it, making it a special part of your life and making the most out of it.”

To my friends, wherever you go and in whatever decision you make in life, always make sure that it will make you happy, and more importantly, a better person and a better friend.

OF WEBCAMS… (updated today)

I haven’t seen
tomasu_san’s webcam yet. Show me kasi eh!! I saw
catdog911's already yesterday. It was very “movy (move-y)”. I also saw Randall Chua through the webcam.
catdog911, is that webcam rotating? Anyways, webcams are cool. :)

Life is like that, filled with new things to learn...

happenings, many, update
