Acoustic vs. electronic
Once again, thinking about getting a drum set.
A co-worker pointed out this, but I am not sure. While it looks neat, I am wondering if an acoustic (or normal) drum set may be the way to go.
Acoustic pros:
Doesn't need electricity in order to play.
Doesn't need an amp in order to hear how I sound.
Electronic pros:
Can attach a set of headphones so I don't piss off my neighbors.
Don't need to buy the cymbals separately, just a kick pedal.
Of course, I don't really have the room for either, so it's sorta moot. But I can probably clean out some space for them...
