(no subject)
this weekend was good, i think...
friday - Matt and I went to a classical guitar concert at HCC (which was really really good, btw) and on the way there, we got into an accident. It wasn't bad or anything, we just rear-ended someone who rear-ended the person in front of him. The girl in the first car was really stupid and annoying, and the guys in the second car could hardly speak english. lol, its all good though, everything ended up ok. After the concert Matt an i went to Cassie's house and saw the last half of the worst movie EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! then i went home and slept for the first time in quite a while.
saturday - went to Metropolitan Ministries with Durant's FCA. (I don't go to Durant...) It was sooooo much fun, lol, between the hair nets, my shoes, david's pants, crazy jazz music, and stephanie falling in the road, i'd have to say that's the most memorable experience i've had in quite a while. Oh, and I danced with a mop!!!!!!!!!! lol, i've always wanted to do that.... *sigh* I'm such a dork. After all that, Cassie, matt, mickey, brett, courtney, lawrence, darren, and david and I went to Village Inn and sat around for FOREVER. Courtney is really sweet, i'm so glad she got to hang out with us.....i love meeting new people. Then we hung out at Brett's house for a little while, and then I spent the night at Cassie's. ...............that was cool, cuz i haven't done that in a while, and we got to talk, and i figured out some stuff, and i feel like cassie and i are friends again, and i'm deffinitely not as good at figuring people out as cassie is.
today, i met a guy from intervarsity ministries and i'm really excited cuz now i have a ministry to get hooked up with at UT next year!!!!! After church, some of the high schoolers and some parents stayed after church for a lunch with him and his family and that was pretty cool. Worship at youth tonight was absolutely amazing. God is really really cool. I just wish some things could be different, but patience is a virtue right?
