I love the "I Write Like" Meme

It's addictive, can't help it. I think I've put every lengthy fic I'm done in the last 8 years through this thing. I wonder how it works. I mean, by word choice or syntax or what. If it's doing the analysis in seconds, it has to be one of those, no?

I input an old West Wing fic I wrote (In A Kingdom Far, Far Away)  and a recent SG-1 fic and got:

I'm absurdly proud of this one given that I've never read any of his books. Or any of the above, save Shakespeare, actually.

Other than these, I got lots of random others, too. James Joyce, Stephen King, Dan Brown, Margaret Atwood, H.P. Lovecraft, Harry Harrison, Raymond Chandler, J.K. Rowling, and Vladimir Nabokov. This is way too much fun. Besides, who wouldn't feel more confident about their writing with these comparisons made?
