Oh dear lord I love this.
Love the way Neal is petulant, an rightly so, about his night with Peter being ruined.
I love how Neal acts with him 'present company be damned'
and most of all I love what the source of the screaming was in the end and how none of them seemed to find it remotely odd.
Very good and if you deemed to carry on in this vein I for one would read it

Honestly, I think after all that mayhem, they were glad it was the least terrifying thing it could possibly be. Better a claustrophobic painting than a Peter-eating monster, y'know?

Yeah, I'm a complete sucker for crack. I think every one of my fandoms has suffered from my addiction to it. The Scream was the most obvious culprit for a fandom coming to life. Otherwise, who would know unless they watched them constantly?

I'm really glad you like that line. I figured Neal would figure out he was in hot water pretty instantly. Peter may love him, but he wouldn't let him off scot-free even if he didn't send him back to the pen.

Thanks a lot. I wasn't sure it'd be anyone's cup of tea, but sometimes you just have to write regardless of whether anybody reads. Badass Peter is my favorite, so I wrote him just like that without any effort. Neal's totally willing to show off his boyfriend if given the chance. He enjoys the finer things and Peter absolutely counts. I think Jones was just along for the ride. I couldn't leave him out; somebody had to bear witness to these Caffrey-Burke shenanigans.
