There are 9 million bicycles in Beijing, and only +5 C in Beijing International Terminal

NOW AND YESTERDAY

I made myself comfortable under a blanket in a Business lounge. It is cold. I embrace a warm laptop and a mug of a hot chocolate. In panoramic window across my chair - planes come and go.
My flight to Moscow is 3 hours late, I slept only 3 hours before I woke up this morning in Wuhan at 5:05 a.m.
Feel creepy and I am literally freezing.

Yesterday though was a beautiful shiny day in Hainan province. It was around +25. Can not believe now - there are lot of snow outside of the lounge's large window.

Yesterday I spend half a day at a bank of Yantzi river flying kite. This I wanted to do since the first day of arriving to Wuhan at a Sympothium :-)

CHINA AFTER 4 YEARS
From my last trip I remember a very different type of China - one which in many places was very India-alike.
How changed it appears now! Streets are full of good cars, all youth is very well dressed, there are lot of buildings with aesthetically appealing design, many people could speak more or less English, everything is so new! I am damn impressed. There only thing I do not understand - why on Earth they need to freeze visitors of International Terminal Nr.3.

Do they have a conspiracy to decrease their carbon footprint in such an inhuman way?
Going to grab a couple of blankets more.
My LJ friends - if you would not hear from me in a while - you know now where to search for me.
Yours, Egorrrrrrr

PS. I would love to spend a year in China. However I do not like the fact that Facebook, GoogleTalk and YouTube seems to be blocked there.

frozen to death, china, modernization, beijing
