Work has been passing without a hitch. For whatever reason, I’ve two and I’ll have one more entire weekend off, thanks to Target’s scheduling. Today was my last day at Lace, I’m sick of it by now, but that’s how it always is; every summer. For helping them this summer, they have been getting rid of old blueberry iMacs. They gave one to me today before I left to show for their appreciation. I hope to install a copy of Leopard on it, if and when I ever get a copy.
I will be getting a cell phone sooner than later - Allison’s parents have agreed to allow me onto their family plan. They’ll be getting new phones, too. I really enjoy the look of the SLVR’s, so I’ll probably purchase one of those for myself. Unless, of course, Apple releases it’s iPhone in the next month.
I’m anticipating school a lot more than I thought I ever would. When I was younger, I counted down the days until the last day of school the day school began. Then, I was free. I dreaded going back to the halls of the penitentiaries they called “schools.” As much as I don’t like seeing people go, I think I’m/we’re more ready for it than I/we think.
My brain and my thoughts are like some sort of category five storm. The kind where there is nonstop lightning, where most of the bolts occur in the massive cumulous cloud, but rarely touching the ground. Each strike of lightning is a different idea, to be thought of, then forgotten; exactly how the lightning bolts manifest and then evaporate. I think too much about stuff.
Sox game tonight, I will be missing Buffalo Monday. Therefore, I’m having a grillXfest on Wednesday evening at 7PM sharp. Everyone be there or bust.
