Seventh update (8th time posting). The last update was January 24.

Finally saw Coyote Ugly tonight (thank you, Netflix). Quite cute and I'm glad I had ice cream handy.

mmmm dj shadow. I really can't get into his newest album, and the one before that didnt do it for me.. but as a friend of mine said, it doesn't matter how much weak music he creates- he'll always be the genious that created Endtroducing. and that's just a perfect hour of music.

also, yeah, that's a very cute movie. and ice cream is good. I stumbled into the ice storm this evening to get some.

ever listen to peaches or scream club? you should they have been rocking my world lately. also there is a coyote ugly saloon in tampa and its all kinds of trendy with dancers on the bar and everything but they have a giant confederate flag hanging from the ceiling. fucking racist assholes

My only experience with a confederate flag was that a black teenager I knew at a metal club years ago would wear one as a cape when he went moshing. badass and crazed kid. but yeah, it's not a grand symbol so damn much of the time, which is too bad- it's a prettier flag than we've got now..

Huh. That's one where I really can't look behind the meaning of the symbol and just see a collection of colors and design. Confederate flag just gets my hackles up.

Plus, I tried staring at it for a while and I think I really do like the stars and stripes better. The one with the 13 stars in a circle is quite pretty too.
