Okay, so I read the seventh HP Book...in leaked PDF format b/c i'm an HP dork enough to go to the book opening but too cheap to actually buy a book. Yes, I dressed up. I would laugh and laugh if he were in Hufflepuff. But most fics tend toward Gryffindor or Slytherin. I like Slytherin better myself. :D

I think that counts as a drabble, abeit a rather unpolished one. I also could've done w/ breaking up that massive paragraph near the end. Oh well

I was thinking the same thing about hufflepuff. Ravenclaw wouldn't be too bad either, but I didn't feel any inclination towards learning coming from him.
So far, nextgen, I don't really like Lily (personal biase b/c i think she's a little twerp) and James (he shouldn't be so mean! D: Oh well, teddy will help reform him...w/ love! haha, okay, too much sappage)

haha, sadly enough, in trying to think of a drabble to respond to jaz's i came upon the idea of snape/albeforthe. It's...somewhat plausible. But i'm not sure how well i could make it work...T'would be hilarious if i could

James/scorpius seems like a redo of H/d, but i wouldn't know
AS/S is such a great pairing though. But it's still early on, we never know. Scorpiames? Scames? Invertebrates and bifocals? The jolly s.s. Just like our fathers? haha, i'll stop now and drink some water

hahahaha god, you kill me, seriously. I wonder what ship name it'll get. It has no cool acronym like AS/S. But someone's sort of convinced me to try writing it, so yeah. We'll see how that goes, or if I just turn them into Harry & Draco. Yech.

Snape/Aberforth, huh? Would there be goats in this fic? Inquiring minds want to know. Go forth and write! :D :D

SNALBF!!! I dunno, but i decided that Abeforthe would definitely have to be nicknamed abf (except that's unpronounceable in English and lots of other languages). B/c Al and alb would probably by used for Albus D. And SS/AD refers to albus...
Technically it'd be more aberforth/snape. Um...Aberape? Okay, no, that's Abe-rape, which brings to mind bad images of Lincoln and his troubled childhood...by Snape. Ack, nvm.
Um...Snaberforth? That's almost catchy. Sounds like a foreign snack though.
I would posit my version of the "goat incident," yes.
Do you know how old/how much older than snape aberforth is?

Aberforth, at end of dh, is 155 years old, so there is no way under Merlin's toenails that he could have gone to school w/ Snape. *pout* What the hell is up w/ the Dumbledore family? Oh my god, what is wrong w/ JKR????? What's with the huge age gape? Apparently, random people get to live forever. What is going on? I'm so confused... Dammit.

seriously though, so technically it took the amazing grindelwald about 90 years to rise to power? And in all that time Dumbledore did absolutely nothing? Truly his love ran really deeply. Those two must have really really angsted a lot. For a long period of time. Ew. Old people angst.

I read some of the stuff on the lexicon about the black tree problems. Or at least the age issues. I love how they're all trying to be as forgiving of jkr as possible. So PC. Well, maybe that's not pc, just being polite?

Rambo! Haha, i personally didn't like Dudley much in the books b/c i think that ~16 years of bullying and resentment doesn't go away easily. But this fic made me like Dudley just a little more.
If a certain author had deigned to spend her last few words discussing things other than redheads, perhaps we could have found out what happened to the Dursleys. I could see Harry and Dudley having awkward annual lunch or something...

i know. So many possibilities. We should make a comm where people get to pool ideas and make someone else write them all.
Awkward lunch made more awkward by Dudley's discovery that Harry is gay. Or the other way around...haha
