The performances of our pieces are Wednesday at three thirty.
Arianna has amazingly pretty much memorized twenty minutes of monologue... she's amazing. I got really lucky.
I'm praying it sells itself. I don't know what I can do with it in the 43 hours between now and Wednesday... besides run it five times and hope she has all of the lines by Wednesday. *goes to make powerpoint presentation with key words in case she gets stuck*
I need to finish my work... for both voice and movement... about that. :-\ I'm not getting credit, and i just don't see the value of the journals, so it's frustrating.
I bought the 2nd season of Coupling today! Yaaaay now I'll have something to watch on the four plane rides between now and home. I also bought three agatha christie books (for the price of 2, except they're pretty damn expensive here so i might as well have gotten three for real... but hey, i needed light reading) one of which was Murder on the Orient Express, because face it, it's her masterpiece.
Need to start packing. I leave Saturday. Insanity. And I'm going to Germany. Even more insanity. Good thing i haven't spoken it in over a year.
The last week has been a little crazy, from spending way too many hours just sitting on my computer to playing Bingo, emceed by drag queens (who put on a show first), at the George, which is a popular gay bar in Dublin. I liked the scene... Alex kinda clung to me for fear of getting hit on, so that was funny.
I've been wearing a lot of black lately. I like black. I look good in it, too. :-)
Alright enough babble... PACKING TIME! (Ideally I will end up with a box of clothes i won't wear until october, a suitcase of clothes I need at home but won't wear until then, and a duffel of clothes for greece).
Wait, first I had to find intro/outro music, for any and all who remember the little children singing God Bless America at the end of Security... oh it was amazing.
