I KNOW AN OSCAR NOMINEE FOR BEST ACTOR!!!
I worked with David Straithairn(Good Night, and Good Luck) in the readings series I SM-interned for at New York Stage and Film last summer!
I am now one degree of separation away from George Clooney. Holy shit awesome.

I am really happy that Reese Witherspoon got Best Actress.
I am less happy about Crash. I mean, it makes sense... it makes the Academy look like it's progressive. But really... it wasn't that great a movie... I liked the subplot, but not the main one. Mneh.
But life, in general, is good. Good good good good good. I got happily drunk on Friday night... and insanely drunk (although still happily) on Saturday night. Yay for asking for alcohol from Lakshmi... never thought that would happen... and wonderful conversations with Ted Sands, Mike Rhaney, Julia, other good people... :-)
Also Friday conversation with Mike W and Allison in which were trying to make Mike come up with his flirting techniques for my scene for my directing class was AWESOME. I love those kids. The three of us talked about sex, hooking up, relationships, breakups, etc. for two hours. We are awesome. And we gave mike the assignment to go flirt friday and saturday and remember what he said... so I got to hear those stories today. Excellent. :-)
Next weekend's resolution, no alcohol.
Shit special dinner is Saturday. Oh well.
Back to being lazy because I don't have any work due tomorrow.
