(no subject)
I got a letter from MSU a few days ago with some awesome news:
1. I'm accepted to their honors college
2. I'm being offered a $2,000 per year scholarship to go there
3. On top of that, I'm being offered at least $2,000 per year to do meaningful research and/or teaching for them underneath a professor.
4. I'm being invited to compete for additional scholarships including: full ride + spending money, full tuition, and other scholarships.
sorry, i'm not trying to brag, I really HATE making people feel stupid. I just was really happy and I wanted to tell everyone.
but this brings up a crisis for me: since I'm probably going to also be accepted at U of M, should I sacrifice the academic reputation of a school like U of M for a lesser school with a better scholarship, like MSU or ASU (which offered me a full ride)?
AAAAHHH I hate thinking about colleges! let me know what you think.
