Jittery Joe's

I am never going to Jittery Joe's ever again. Or Moore's Market. I had fried prawns and chips the other night at the Market, but I didn't eat all of it (thank GOD), then went to Jittery Joe's where I got a Candy Cane coffee drink, not that there was really any coffee in it. Then, I was in the FREEZING ASS COLD with wind making it hard to stand in one spot watching the Cartersville Christmas parade. This was all while I was babysitting one of my favorite kids, Andy. We were in that nasty weather for maybe thirty minutes before I said, "You know, I think we missed your dad," (he was in the organization putting on the parade) "I think it is time to go home."

And that is when it hit me.

The whole time we were walking back, I was saying to myself, "Don't throw up, don't throw up, don't throw up." Luckily, we made it home without any vomit, but it was far from over. I'm not going to share the gruesome details, but let me just say that Andy's mom, Linda, did not get home soon enough. Also, I really should not have gone to work the next day because even though I was feeling "better," when my boss Michele was talking about David Sedaris, I hated her every moment because David Sedaris is hilarious and I definitely laugh from my stomach. Ugh.

In other news, I haven't even gotten to the halfway mark in the Christmas cards I am making.
