Film
My dad misplaced the roll of film from my graduation and for the past couple months we have looked everywhere for it. It turned up in the kitchen hidden in the clear scale used for weighing food. We don't weigh our food very often. I was excited to see the pictures, but I completely forgot that there were other pictures on that roll. First, there were pictures from the USS Alabama, which were taken during Spring Break '05. Then there were pictures from my 21st birthday. I saw Mark's bright and shiny face smiling at the pornography we had recently purchased for him. I saw my face drunkenly staring at the camera. Josh Evans was passed out on the floor. The most innocent picture taken at the party was of the vegetable plate. My mother had questions and I had answers modeled after the "9/11" excuse: "It was my 21st birthday."
