Long time, no speak
Soooo...it's been a really hectic month. I don't think I've had a good night's sleep in a month or so because I've been getting used to Toby and vice versa and then there was the whole thing about the $100 fine and threat of eviction. We're laying low now. Blinds are drawn, we don't answer the door unless we know we are expecting someone or if Rick does his customary multiple rings in under two seconds, and we're out as often as possible. The good news is that I've gotten a nice tan on my arms. Unfortunately, my legs are still a bit on the marshmallow side, but I'm working on that.
Has it not been GORGEOUS outside the last few days? We're loving it! I used to love those overcast, rainy days because they were really good excuses for staying in and watching movies, but now that I'm fearful of my own apartment, I fear the rainy days. Pretty crazy!
I have not been doing well with my ONE CLASS. I feel like a huge disappointment. I messed up on my part of a group presentation, I messed up on my paper, and I completely forgot about a presentation last week. I mean, I do have a good excuse (Toby and I are fugitives), but I hate excuses. Le sigh.
Well, I'm going to start looking for a freakin job now...
