So much better on holiday
So, I've had a nice holiday. My family is in town and we're just chilling out. They came in on Wednesday and even though I had most of the day to clean up for them, I was still finishing things up when they finally arrived. I would say maybe it was Amanda coming over between classes, but I know I was really just dragging my butt. Sorry. I had just spent the last couple days doing papers and a test.
Anyway, Thanksgiving was fun. Joel came over and got a taste of the madness found in my family. The turkey did a good job of sedating us all. My dad fell asleep and was snoring, which made me giggle a little bit. I really enjoyed all the food we had; it was all very good. What'd we have? Turkey, cranberry salad, dressing, mashed potatoes, ambrosia, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, biscuits, pea and asparagus casserole, gravy...I think that's it.
Now I need to prepare a bit for this week's fashion show. Kind of nervous about it. Should be fun.
