Flat tire

Yep, got one of those yester-night. Twas fun. Just chatting away about how interesting Godspell was and then suddenly we (Alicia, Amanda, and I) hear THUD THUDTHUD THUD THUDTHUD THUD THUDTHUD. This was followed by, "Oh shitohshitohshit." Tried changing the tire; didn't happen. Regretted not peeing before leaving from the play. Gave up for the night; went home. Walked over to the car this morning -- it was at the apartment complex next to the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market. It wouldn't hold any air. The Fix-a-flat did nothing.

You're wondering, "Well, why didn't they just change the stupid tire?" Long story short: the screw on the "hubcap" was a bit stripped. But we were able to get the thing off with blah blah blah. (I didn't feel like typing it, so I know you probably wouldn't have read it.)

Anyway, took the tire off. I'd say about a quarter to a third of the back of the tire was completely shredded. Jon was surprised I kept control of the car as well as I did. I have two new tires now.

I saw Joel at Macy's today; chatted a bit, then went to the movies. I didn't really want to spend the money, but I forgot books and other things to do while waiting on the stupid car. I saw "Chicken Little." It was the only movie showing; there weren't a lot of options. Let me just say, I was a bit freaked out by the little E.T.-esque twist.

Can't wait for the fashion show December 2nd! I bought a shirt and a jacket when I was with Erin at Goodwill today. It's all good cuz I'm getting reimbursed!

I guess that's about it.
