Double your standards, double your fun...

Okay, I'm trying to get this straight. If someone anywhere near the center or left thereof seeks high office, his/her detractors and the press have the divine right to divulge the most minute, trivial details of their lives, no matter how little they may bear on the candidate/nominee's ability to execute the duties of the office he/she seeks. But, if the candidate/nominee is a little more to the right, it's totally cool if we use government resources to actively conceal the unflattering aspects of their lives, even where they may directly bear on the person's qualifications and/or character.

Oh, Bill...

I'm reminded of W, Clarence Thomas, others... I hope I'm still around when Roberts passes away and we can finally read about his life before he went into the closet.
