It's snowed here today again!
Will winter ever end? It snowed here again today. With my trip to San Diego earlier this week I thought I had just about managed to escape it. I was slightly mollified by the fact that it wasn't a work day, so at least I could go take some pictures of it while it was all fresh and pretty. But just by way of contrast, here's where I was Tuesday:

I still haven't had a chance to upload many pics from my trip out to San Diego, but in the meantime here's a pop quiz: There is a light switch at the top of the door frame in the bathroom in one of my friends' apartments (see below). I couldn't for the life of me figure out what it did (and you know I totally flipped it on and off to see what it does because I can't just keep my hands to myself). So even after my friend told me what it was for, I thought it was odd and would never have guessed it on my own. Weirdly, we found a similar switch in my other friend's new apartment -- she had no idea what it was for, but now she knows, which is very exciting (well, for her anyway)! So what would you guys guess it does? (And no fair guessing if you've seen these before!)
