yay, i bought this earlier today and put it together myself (it came unassembled). i can't believe i actually put the top on backwards and then wondered why the dowels wouldnt fit in right. i felt like Jessica Simpson *shakes head* oh well, now its all put together... i'll just wait for the glue to dry and then attempt to organize my cds in some fashion. or maybe i should just wait til tomorrow to do that.

i wish my other Photobucket account would work again so i could post all the rest of my london pictures. i'd had all that stuff ready to go when my account somehow exceeded its damn bandwidth... i dont know how.. i didnt post the pics in *that* many places. or perhaps its just cause 'photography' has about 4000-some members. i forget the exact number... somewhere in the 1000s. granted most people probably dont check their Friends list frequently but oh well. whenever my account is brought back to life (a month after i made it.. which was a few days after i got back, on the 26th.. grr), i'll put those up.

today was pretty easy at the school. i really didnt have to do much at all. the little guy i had to watch was so cute. i felt kinda bad for him.. he's only in first grade and is on a whole bunch of medication. he had open-heart surgery when he was really little, and now he is really susceptible to viruses and whatnot. if someone else in the class even gets a cold, he has to go to the doctors right away cause it could be really dangerous for him. he can only drink certain kinds of water... i think his dad said that if water is on his skin for even a few minutes, he'll get a rash (i'm guessing the dad meant just regular tapwater... cause otherwise, how could he get a shower/bath?). and his lips were really chapped/cracked.. he had to put lip stuff on every 20 or so minutes and whatnot. he's such a cute little guy though. i just stayed in the room with him and helped him out a little bit when he didnt understand directions and stuff like that. then helped him get a drink/carried his bag/etc. he held my hand in the hall a few times.. aww :) also chatted with some of my old teachers... its so weird to be in the position i'm in now, there, and i went to elementary school in the same building. its kind of surreal. most of the teachers who i know from when i went there still look more or less exactly the same. hmm.

damn, i just remembered that i'd wanted to buy one of those devices that fixes scratches on cds... i shouldve remembered this when i was at Best Buy today.... grrr. not really much else to say.. nothing exciting. just figured i should write something.

school, work
