(no subject)
why must i always be cold? *brrr* i have on a sweater, fleece pj pants, socks, and am under a blanket on the couch here and still have not warmed up yet. and all today at my dad's school i was freezing. hopefully this will not be the case tomorrow.... which will be a hell of a long day. essentially i will be gone from about 8am to maybe 9pm.. oh joy. school, appointment, playing le piano at IA, home. i should go to the gym tonight... it closes at 11. i was there around the 10-11ish time before and it was great - hardly anyone there. i would definitely warm up there :P i just have to be up early tomorrow and therefore should go to bed early. blahhh. i was doing well there and then have slacked off in the past few days.
someone wish me some good vibes tomorrow (bells or marimbas or xylos would be good too *looks around and realizes no one is laughing*).. and no i dont necessarily mean leaving a comment saying 'good luck tomorrow'.. :P... though if you really want to, you can. anyway. yeah. i went and observed some really good teachers today and got to help out with some stuff.. good times. these kids better be good tomorrow. and i hope the teacher leaves good/detailed lesson plans so i'm not grabbing at thin air (that's the saying, right?). also, one of the first grade teachers who i observed today loaned me some books of her's that she says the kids enjoy reading (well, having the books read to them, perhaps, since theyre just learning to read.. oh joy :P). so if all else fails, maybe i'll break out the books. and then of course over dinner tonight, i got grilled by les parents about what did i learn today... and i'm like jeez its not like hard, concrete, factual information.. i just observed the way the teachers conducted themselves and exercised authority in the classroom, etc.. and they were asking me all these specific questions.... give me specific examples of how the teachers controlled the kids, etc... and i had to think about it and was like jeez stopping asking me so many questions. this was all civil, of course, but still. i suppose this is what i get for having a superintendent and a principal as my parents :P
ok well anyway.. yes. i am hoping this goes well.
