(no subject)
just ordered for the cheapest price i could find:
i went to just about every one of these retailers listed on the UGG site and checked prices.... haha. yeah, i'm crazy, but i know i got the best price. they list for $200 & the cheapest price i found was $140. wayyy more than i've ever paid for shoes but i think theyll be worth it. i tried on a regular pair in Journey's a couple days ago & they were sooo soft. felt like walking on clouds :)
anyways i think the ones i decided on (theyre called "Knightsbridge") are nicer than the standard ones that everyone and their mom wear. i like that theyre higher and a little more fitted. plus i enjoy the zipper down the back. can't wait til they arrive. yay for comfy shoes.
ughh i've had this really annoying sore throat since Wednesday (which ended up being a snow day, thankfully). i stayed home on Thursday & Friday. i don't usually do that but i had the sick days & felt lousy so i decided to stay home. i still have 6 sick days left til June so i think i'll be fine.
i'm attributing the past 2 weeks' 4-5 lb. weight gain to Girl Scout Cookies (one bad thing about working @ an elementary school). trying not to care that much... as soon as it starts getting nice out, my butt will be outside walking/running/biking frequently. it sucks for me now that i don't have any kind of gym membership at all... winter pretty much = no opportunity to exercise since i hate going outside when its like 30 out. blahhh.
i need to start taking more legitimate photos. i haven't used my SLR since our San Fran trip back in August :( (plus i still have a roll of film in both my Holga & my LC-A+..... sigh). trouble is that there's not much to look at around here. everything is dead & frozen and i haven't been able to get away. i'm really hoping for a jaunt down to Florida whenever my school's spring break is......
ok, i have nothing interesting to say & this is all terribly boring & pointless.
p.s.- pssttt, free music (just in case you missed it before). i really like Erin McCarley. her voice reminds me sooo much of Meiko's.
