(no subject)
i got my ring back... yay! (it was being sized. well actually... i wanted to have it sized but they said they wouldn't do it again cause it would compromise it's integrity... so they put 2 little beads on the inside of the band which make it a little more snug). anyways, my ring finger is happy again :)
yesterday was a pretty lazy day... we watched like 4 old episodes of Dirty Sexy Money on DVD (yeah, i heard it might get scrapped but i sure hope not. Cory & i have really gotten hooked :P) and then ventured out later so he & Mike Weaver could do some work on his boat down at the marina. chilled for a bit later.. had a yummy dinner.. and then eventually watched this freaky-ass movie that i somehow picked via OnDemand. the description given seemed innocuous enough. it was called Hard Candy... anyone seen/heard of it? it caught my attention cause Ellen Page is in it (i think there are only like 5 actors in the whole movie) & i really liked her in Juno and Smart People so i thought it'd be of similar nature. well, it definitely took me by surprise. it was verrry unlike what i'd expected. i won't say too much about it but if you want to see Ellen Page in a totalllllly different kind of role.. umm... watch that via OnDemand, if you have it. interesting!!!
currently Cory is out going mountain biking with some guy friends so i'm just kinda wastin time & doin my own thang (haha). went out to King of Prussia Mall (aka one of the biggest malls in the country) to get my ring back from the Cartier store.. i also couldn't resist hitting up J. Crew where i bought 2 merino cableknit sweaters - 1 aqua & 1 deep purple. i couldn't resist... they were on sale for like $50 or something (cheap for there) & plus i don't have any cableknit sweaters.
ooo look, i'm wearing the hat i bought back in the summer for the first time since i got it! haha
can't wait til 8 tonight.... double episode of 24. i've been watching Donald Sutherland as Tripp Darling for the past month or so on DSM and now i get to see Kiefer Sutherland as Jack :P tonight's show is going to be such a tease but oh well.
oh and i think i've said it before but i lovvvvve the LastFM app for the iPhone :) it rocks my world. it's like having my own little customized radio station with all my favorite music that i can listen to anytime, wherever i am. ♥
current book: Notes from a Small Island by Bill Bryson (i bought another book of his to start after this one). i've been enjoying it thus far :) i also may reread The Time Traveler's Wife again soon. i read that there's a movie version coming out soon-ish... yay!
all this cold weather is making my skin dry & cracked despite myriad lotions i try. boo!
