(no subject)
i designed/ordered this online earlier. the school i work at has a dolphin as its mascot. every Friday teachers are supposed to wear either this dark blue short-sleeve polo we got in the beginning of the year with the school mascot/name in a corner... or something school-related / with a dolphin on it. i did some searching for dolphin shirts which yielded a lot of stuff like this which i wasn't interested in. then i found a site with some cuter designs and that let you design your own shirt. i could've uploaded my own pic but the one they had was kinda cute. i couldnt decide between 3/4 sleeve boatneck, regular long sleeve shirt, and long sleeve with a hood. i ended up getting the long sleeve shirt w/hood thats actually for juniors. according to their measurements it looks like a medium *should* fit me fine. hopefully it will fit / look cute & i can wear it on Fridays now that its gradually starting to get a little chillier.
ooo speaking of chilly weather... i am sooo getting a new J. Crew coat this year, esp. since i have a gift card worth $80 after i returned some stuff earlier this summer. just have to decide which one to get. the one i've had for the past 4 or so years is way too big now.
alsooo i wish the school mascot was a penguin. i'd love to have an excuse to find a cute penguin shirt. i actually already have a dark blue tshirt with Chilly Willy the penguin on it. hehe

hmm so last night we watched The Onion Movie (i fell asleep). it was ok i guess... i've checked out that site a couple times over the years but the humor is just not me, for the most part. i can't even describe why. the movie was just about what i expected. then we put the jacuzzi to use (why not). good times. my parents have been away for the past 2 or 3 weeks so Cory & i have been holding down the fort here, esp. since its closer to where we both work. theyre getting back tonight though. as of this month i'm gonna be more-or-less offically moving in w/Cory (as in helping pay 1/2 the rent). we pretty much already live together as it is but have been splitting our time between locations.
tonight we're meeting my parents @ Carrabba's for dinner since theyre driving back from the Atlantic City airport. this has become an unofficial tradition - we did the same thing the last time they came back from there too. that was maybe 3ish weeks ago? then we'll go to Cory's apt. and hopefully i'll get some work done. i wanna bang out my lesson plans so i won't have to worry about that tomorrow. the Eagles play tomorrow @ 1 & i'm not sure if my aunt/uncle/cousins are having people over to watch like they usually do. if so, we thought that instead of driving to their place, we could ride bikes there instead. nice scenery, and good exercise :) we'll see about that. then Monday its back to work again. woohoo.
oooo i'm just looking out the window of the kitchen door here and theres a big ol' praying mantis sitting on the bench by a plant. awesome. there was one outside yesterday on the molding by the doors. maybe its the same one. ooooo maybe if Cory's macro lens is here i'll go snap some pics?
