RY concert # ?? (lost count)
well, i'm glad we were on the guest list for tonight's show cause honestly, i thought it lacked the magic & energy that her live shows usually have. i didn't really care for the set list much, & i don't know if it was our location in the room or what, but all the other instruments overpowered her voice so much that i could barely hear the words on some songs. i like her more in the mellower moments... the slower, ballad-y songs.
oh and the crowd was pretty annoying too. people kept calling out dumb things and requesting songs she never plays live. its like.. umm.. if you were a seasoned fan you'd know not to even ask for that... lol. then people were calling out things like "i love your hair!". umm... ok then.
anyways afterwards we got to go backstage & say hi when i told the doorman i was on the guestlist (my name was the first name on the list.. woohoo.. i felt special). there were other people trying to get in & but they weren't allowed. muahaha. we just talked for a couple minutes about music stuff and made fun of the stupid old guy right in the front who was rockin out to ballad songs & getting wayyyy too into it. he was there last time too. i was gonna ask to get a picture just to post here or whatever but i thought that would look too fangirl-ish & i just wanted to play it cool. she said she wanted to come see play, again.. so that was cool. she said maybe after the tour is over (about 3ish weeks) :) how awesome would that be...
