you know.. its funny how just listening to certain music can take you back (emotionally) to the time when you started listening to it. i'm listening to Sarah Harmer on my headphones right now, and even though i'm sitting here on my bed in the middle summer, just listening to these songs again makes me feel like i'm back at LVC in the middle of the winter... all the things i felt back then. i feel like i'm back in my little room there at school... the cold walk back from my car to the dorm, crossing the railroad tracks by foot (even though no one's supposed to)... sitting in my room with the vanilla candle burning, putting off my stupid work... feeling the cold seep in through the window despite my sundry attempts to prevent it. aghhh, its so weird. i just feel like i'm there again. and i think its the same with a lot of music for me.... like when i hear Jack Johnson, i feel like i'm back at last summer... hot weather, windows down, driving up to babysit my cousins, etc. same deal with soooo much different music. its so... interesting? curious? yeahhh.
