dzamn, this is some crazy weather. it's like a small hurricane or something. and well, usually it has been getting dark somewhere around 5-5:15 ish. it is now 4:15 and has been almost dark since 4. crazy. it is so windy and blustery out that i'm kinda scared one of these humongous (sp?) trees around the house might blow over and fall or something. eeek. and of course tonight is Laur's confirmation, and she asked me to be her sponsor (which i think is REALLY funny, but hey, she's my cousin, so yeah i'm doing it) so i have to be up in Cinnaminson around 6ish. not sure if theyre having food up there? anyway and because dad is paranoid about driving in bad weather, i know he's gonna insist on going with me and driving his car, but whatever - i'll just bring my little player and listen to my music. but yeah. this is some insane, yet exciting weather.

oh and the torrential rain just started. greeaaattt
i have to take the Praxis II for music (the 'content knowledge' one) on Saturday morning at 7:30am. eek. i've been trying to 'study' for some of the education stuff that i never learned at school, but well, the test is so comprehensive that its kind of silly to do that. but its designed so that you can still do well even if you know nothing about some of the subject areas (i.e. all the ed stuff, in my case). i know i'll do well with all the theory and history stuff, so that should be good. i love how all the theory is still ingrained in my head, and it is pretty much impossible for me to play a piece of music without subconsciously analyzing it. i just need to brush up on mundane things i've maybe forgotten, such as the types of augmented VI chords (i know they are Italian, German, and French... just forget the specifics of each). i've been reading up on some ed stuff, so we'll see. i was just thinking last night - this whole studying thing has made me think that although i'm not exactly thrilled with my life overall at the present time, i should be glad that i'm done with all the stress-related school stuff. cause that was really annoying, going through all that stuff. the procrastination and mental/emotional beating up and blah blah blah. but right, the test is Saturday morning. tonight is Laur's confirmation, and i think tomorrow i'm going out with Cory to IA, so i have limited time. no use in stressing though. what will be, will be.
i've hardly listened to any music this week, aside from the pieces i set the WakeMeUp program to play me in the morning as my alarm. boo to that.
