(no subject)
soo. update on my lifee.
im moving tuesday, just two blocks up, shouldnt be too hard. i only needed like 2 boxes, the rest is clothes, a futon, a dresser and a drafting table. and one stolen starbucks sign. anyway, my mom is also coming to visit, she'll be here tuesday with a minivan to help me move, yay! and then shell be here till i leave- the 16th. then its back home to dallas!! it really hasnt hit me yet, ive been super busy with school and whatnot, finals blah blah blah.
hm, as of late ive taken to downloading shows onto my laptop :) ive got season 3 and 4 of sex and the city! but the unfortunate thing is that i dont have a DVD burner. which is bad news for me, because yeah. its bad news. so im looking into getting an external DVD player, or at least an external harddrive, which wouldnt be so bad, but i would like to be able to download everything and then burn it then watch it on my tv. by the way, getting a fully furnished place, its costing more, but its worth it, the two women who moved out of the place left me everything they own, so its all mine now! that, and since im going to be living alone, i think im going to get a kitten :) i thought i had escaped the smell of cat pee, and endless kitty hair. but oh well.. im determined to be tidy and have a chic apartment, just like E's and susans(even though i havent seen it yet, im sure its tidy and chic). well since my mom is going to be in town im hoping that shes going to take me to the grocery store and buy me everything i could ever want. which would be nice. i think i need mouisturizer, its dry in canada, its the altitude i think.
as far as christmas goes, im really excited!! i dont know what im getting yet, but from what it sounds like marks family has all but entirely commited me as a full fleged Shepherd, haha. and from what mark says hes already spent over 900 dollars on christmas/birthday/anniversarry gifts. i cant wait :) :) :)
susan as far as new years goes, it looks like Christian(the english guy) is having a party, and i think you should come. they're always so so so much fun, and you could always stay with me after.
oh! and update, my brother is in one of the top 5 finalists for funniest comedian in texas!!!!!! if he wins, he gets lots of money, and a trip to Japan to preform at USO(whatever that is) and bunches of career oppertunities!! so, im naturally really excited for him. the finals are on the 30th, in temple Texas- and i think you should come with susan, and bring jack and whoever you want if you like. gotta show alot of support for my bro.
anyway, things are looking good. december is such an expensive month- ive paid rent here- 650. and then i have to pay half rent at my new place, plus damage deposite. so. 850. ugh. way to much money this month. thank god ive got a job.
anyway, i think two weeks is way to short of a break.. its sad, but i'll deal i guess. ive got my "spring break" in feb, and we get out mid april, so ill be back in time for prom! lol! i want to go. and what else.. uh.
oh yeah. im getting my Prior Learning Assesment done for my three reqired studio courses this spring semester. its easy stuff. i bring some slides, some examples of my portfolio, my resume, and just like that, im getting an A for 2 types of painting, and intro photography. its gonna be a breeze, and well, cost me about 300, but thats about the price of one class anyway and i'll be ahead of the game.
uhhh i cant think of anything else to update actually. things are going well at school. ive got good friends, and awesome parties to go to. now if only i had a car..
