So after the mind-numbing prepwork over the weekend... Homecoming week is going fine so far!
Monday was dress up day/top five were officially announced (I may now inform you all that I was the one who counted the votes on Thursday so I've known who made Top 5) and it went well. Didn't go to third hour so I could sell bids which was more or less Drew, Jessica, Kelsey, Alissa, and I chilling out in the concession stand for two hours. Good times. TYO went well.
Yesterday was tye-dye shirt/uniform pants day and that went well. Got out of Philipps to sell bids mostly with Drew, where both of us came to the conclusion that we forgot to do half of the Anatomy homework and ran around like chickens with our heads cut off trying to find colored pencils. Good times.
Then I went home with Jordan to do some shopping for Japanese Club which worked out well, although her dad DID lock his keys in the car and while we ate dinner we watched the AAA guy fail miserably at breaking into it.
TODAAAAY... is mom's surgery. Little anxious, but it should all be fine.
It's also hippy day! Nell and her friends have the ingenious idea of running around without shoes for as long as possible so I'm definitely doing that. I'm in a long flowery skirt type deal so I might be able to get away with it the whole day lmao. And then I'll wash my feet at the end.
Going home with Jordan AGAIN to do some prep-work for Thursday so there's no need to stay until 9 PM again for Japanese Club... Mom's assured me this is okay a 66789706990326-35-6 bajillion times so... I'll call periodically and make sure everything's going well.
