This is going to sound really cheesy, so I'm putting it under a cut, rofl. BASH ME ALL I WANT FOR A STEREOTYPICAL POST LIKE THIS THAT THE F-LIST HAS ALREADY DONE.
The Inauguration today was freaking life-changing.
In the instance of that speech, Obama admitted his weaknesses and instilled hope in everyone. And more than a magic wand (to use your words Terra, because I totally agree with you on that opinion), this country needs the hope and the inspiration to fix up ourselves. I think that was what he was trying to portray and I hope he succeeded far beyond my own little mind.
Also, the arrangement of Simple Gifts took my breath away. Yo Yo Ma can be added to the list of my Heroes Who Happen to be Asian along with Yao Ming and George Takei.
