History

The 18-Hour-Bra is an invention that rose to counter the women's rights movement of the 1960s. A plummet in worker productivity during that decade caused the nation's top scientists to tackle the issue, and they then realized realized productivity depended almost entirely upon whether the females in the workplace were wearing bras. If they were, the girls were constricted and the men were largely uninterested--if the dirty pillows are flopping free, neither gender can be expected to maintain their focus.

When worker productivity reached lows that rivaled the Great Depression, the scientists once again turned their attention to the issue, and designed the 18 hour bra. The device was made of a new space age material, developed by the Soviets in a secret Siberia laboratory. The device was made of an extremely constrictive material, as such that once the unsuspecting female dons the undergarment, the device constricts. With the device in this position, the female has no choice but to wear it for at least 16 hours (poor Soviet quality standards really show through here) until the movements associated with a full day of productivity cause the fabric to relax and the device to release its captive.

Present Day

The 18 hour bra debuted successfully, to the acclaim of The Man everywhere.
The designers were awarded Nobel Prizes in both the Chemistry and World Peace fields. The re-bra-ing of America's young female workforce lead to increased productivity, and the go-go-go pace of the 80s and material success of the 90s. Its influence only began to wane when the Thong Revolution, inspired by Sisqo himself, began to move to the forefront of the Underwear Movement.
