okay so i have an idea
i reeeally really really wanna animate a video for homestuck to the song "fat lip" by sum 41. a totally legit one--fine lines and pen pressure and full-color and all. it'd probably have a lot to do with the guy trolls, mainly crabdaddy. (lol karkat) as a primer to the 3-minute song, i'll do a little short between vriska and eridan or vriska and tavros with egoraptor's pirate audio. "HELLOOOOO CAPTAIN"
oh wait no. tavros and ERIDANNNN. yeah i don't really wanna be too mainstream. hyqster @ heart~<3
basically they're going around and wreckin' everything in the homestuck universe and messing around. the girls are obviously up in it, too. i must include hussie somehow. and the exiles and guardians. probably a couple of consorts, too. might as well throw in the mignight crew. may seem like a lot, but hey, three minutes is a lot of screen time for an animation, especially since i plan to tackle this at 24fps. (trying to get used to that standard). i was even struggling to fit more characters in with that 55-second clip--although those were primarily still images.
and then i want to do "keaseby nights" by streetlight manifesto. that'll hafta be a seperate video, though. and a lot more silly.
HO BOY i want to do a lot. that will take youtube a whiiiile to process.
this means i'm gonna have to do quite a bit of planning. i've already got ideas. i just need to practice drawing those guys headcanon so that their features become second nature. ooooh this'll be so much fun! i can imagine it already. i'll be drawing like a madwoman. muwhaahahahha. this is a great challenge. i'm not even the least bit intimidated. my past fanimations have been well-recieved, getting me in the most popular zone for 8 + 24 hours on that first one, and 24 hours on the most recent one.
