today has just been an excellent day.
i need to keep making huge rambly journals everyday again. <3
so, today was as the title suggests. we went to safeway and staples, two stores i really had fun being in. i wanna go back to staples and have a look around. they updated their inventory since we were there last year. and safeway. omg safeway.
it's so nice and warm and inviting. they've got everything i love. DVDs, video games, BAHHH. my job, when i can get one, will probably be at either STAPLES or books a million. probably books a million, but i'd be so happy to get a discount on dat KINDLE. yes. you heard me.
staples sells kindles. i was all, "oh wow, that's amazing! yes, this is great!" i could also snag some headphones / earbuds there, too. they've got DVDs in stock, and i'm pretty sure i saw something i wanted (SHREEEEK) in safeway. though it might have actually been a wii game, and not DVDs.
got me some lunch food snackieeees. GOSH i raided the store. capri sun, nilla cookies, peanut butter and chocolate granola bars, fruity pebbles, all o' dat.
it was raining like insanity out there today. the weather has gotten stingyingly cold. i don't like it, but i deal with it. i'll just make the most of it. thank goodness tomorrow is a B day. i love B days. all of my really fun and easy classes happen then. our tech ed project, i think, is going pretty decent. we made a catapult. it was an absolute wreck before. now it's okay. i'm just worried about how far it will be able to shoot the ping pong ball. if it isn't too heavy or too hollow we should be just fine.
the main reason we got out in the freezing rain was for my science fair stuff. i like potting plants. it was fun. gave me a sort of liberating feeling, taking care of those plants. the experiment's going pretty well this year. i fell mor eempowered, getting this stuff done early and in a timely manner. i think i'm even learning to study.
omg this is exciting.
i've been reading this comic called homestuck. only it's more than a comic. it's grand. it gives me this tingly, fun feeling when i read it. just like with harry potter. i'm in this unique little niche of the universe. it's wonderful.
you know that feeling you get when you know you really like something? that's how i feel about it.
i'm also tutoring spanish after school now. i'm really enjoying it. it's rewarding and makes me want to learn more and more.
oh yeah, i forgot. THEY HAVE THE HARRY POTTER FILM WIZARDRY BOOK AT BOOKS A MILLION. THIS MAKES ME INSANELY HAPPY. and mommy said that if i do the dishes, i'll get $20 every two weeks. (that's every time she gets paid. btw.) i just feel so hopeful. everything just went right today.
i still would really like to see that tangled movie, if i never get to see any other.
