Mod Post//New New New!!!!
Where's everybody been??? Holy cow! It seems we've all gone MIA, lately. I don't know where Marie and Stacy have been, but I know I've been crazy busy with looking for a (yet another) new job and getting ready for school (which I start tomorrow).
I've neglected LiveJournal and this community for long enough.
Since Marie decided to work herself back out, I should, too. So, this year, I resolve to pay more attention to this community.
And, in my attention paying, I've come up with new activities, themes and contests!!!
First, new scavenger hunt!!
What you need to find:
[01] a DVD.
[02] a shoe.
[03] a plate.
[04] a can of hairspray.
[05] a pair of sunglasses.
[06] a stuffed animal (or your actual pet, if you have no stuffed animals... I figure everyone has one or the other).
[07] a t-shirt.
[08] a pen.
[09] a book.
[10] a chair.
[11] a flower.
The rules of the scavenger hunt (in case you've forgotten) are simple. Just find the item, take a picture of it, and post! You can't google the images, though. No cheating!
We also have a few new themes:
The general theme is going to be New Year's Resolutions! Very fitting of January, don't you think?
The color is going to be white.
The mix tape theme is going to be starting over/new beginnings, since that's kind of what we're doing with the community, here.
The new cutest/favorite is going to be outfits! Pick your favorite of cutest full outfit (even down to the shoes, if you'd like) and show us!!
And, last, but certainly not least, I've come up with a new contest.
I figured that, since the whole community is starting over, it could use a bit of a make over. But, I can only make the absolute basic banners in Photoshop. That's where the contest comes in:
You guys make a new header (as many as you'd like to submit!) for the community and at the end of the month we'll vote on which one we like the best. The winner will not only get the 30 points standard with winning the contest, but we'll also put your header up for the new layout!!
The header can be no bigger than 800x250, though, and should be in JPG or GIF format.
So, get out there, everyone!
And, remember to PROMOTE PROMOTE PROMOTE!!!
