She's grown to trust him, actually. She enjoys his company and he is one of the only ones in promenade that she can rely on for anything. The way that he avoids his emotions troubles her, but she understands it, or thinks she does, nonetheless. She does the same thing to herself and others sometimes. She wants to become even closer to him, but isn't interested in him romantically. She sees him more of that silly brother that she never had, besides Tony, who had been more of an ass than Bowen is.

Simon is that awkward kid. He's kind and honest, but she's still wondering exactly who he is even though she's known him since she first got to Promenade. He doesn't really talk unless she asks him questions, and even then it's very short answers. She's not used to to that at all. You know. Actually making conversation.

Don't even get her started. He's clever, sarcastic, and that one guy that just seems like someone you don't want to mess with. She's wary of him, to be perfectly honest. Not to say that she doesn't want to get to know him, but she can't read him very well, and that troubles her in a way.

Well. This guy has problems. A lot for what Effy can tell. He refuses to tell her anything, and honestly, she's just going to let him do that. She has made effort for people to trust her or confide in her, but if they don't want to, she's not going to force them. He's very nice and seems silly on one hand, but on the other hand extreeeemely super troubled with himself and his past and his present. She's a little upset now that he's left.

New in Promenade, and strangely similar to Cook in a lot of ways. He's intriguing, but that doesn't stop her from secretly feeling utterly exposed since he transformed into her. Naked. Yeah, that was a Kodak moment for sure. Even so, that didn't stop her from taking a liking to him. Perhaps they can be friends.
