Jody and I met this kid Jayson and he seemed to have it all. Except one big problem: he like both of us, and we both liked him. We met him at Morningstar, the one place i never think of going to. He was sitting with the infamous Tyler, who ran away from Jody on a cold wintry night. He was stoned out of his mind and thats probably the reason he jumped into Jody's car to go to the Ford museum with us. (Poor Julia was ignored the whole time, and for this I feel awful for.) We buttoned, fountained, and astronauted it up.
We dropped him off in the mindset we would probably never see him again. But as we were winding down for bed at 3 a.m. he called saying he was coming over. So he did. We went to Hell's Bridge and then to Rosa Parks. After realizing how hungry we were, Jody drove us back to her house where we watch Pet Sematary. He left at 1. I had a pretty good assumption that he was favoring Jody, but I didn't say anything.
Tonight was embarrassing. I tried calling Jody a million times. I was invited to a party via Jayson but on my way to meeting Jody at Steak 'N Shake, he told me the party was postponed until further notice. I didn't see Jody's car at S 'N S and was pissed I had wasted my gas. I tried calling her again, but still no reply. I parked at the Euclid in the hopes of finding her car in the parking lot when I saw Jayson's car. (Hmmm... real shady.) Soon after I saw jody drive by. I walked up to her telling her about my conversation with Jayson when he walks up to her car, ignoring me. Jody said they had planned on going out that night, which i had no idea about. I felt stupid for crashing this "date," so i left with my tail between my legs. I drove by Discussions in the hopes i would see a familiar car, which i didn't, and then turned around to go home. As i was sitting at the light, I saw Jayson drive by, alone. I was comforted by that sight. I called Jody after she texted me saying she was going to see ASSHOLE.(I mean Ashton.) I told her I wasn't mad and she told me she ditched him. It was probably the first time this summer someone had the opportunity to shit on me and they didn't. I went straight to Blockbuster and went home to watch Zodiac and Strangers with Candy with my mom.
I hope all goes well with her long lost love. He better not be an asshole b/c if he is, he has to answer to my brutal prank calls.
