I'm reading this big book of stories by H.G. Welles, its quite interesting especially when you take into account when it was all written. For example I read a story today about tank warfare written in 1903. The realisation that got to me though was the fact the the titualar device in "the time machine" is analog. Have you ever seen the film Primer? The time machine in that movie works on cyclic time loops within a confined space.

Not seen it no, I dont see many movies on my own (don't have the attention span to just sit there for 2 hours by myself) and the people who bring stuff into the house have more generic tastes.

It's quite a good movie, especially for the budget they were on when making it. I got the DVD if you're ever interested.
