Best moment of 2012:
As NEWS is my first and (still) current ichiban Johnny's group, of course the best moment of 2012 (or maybe one of the best in my life, actually!!! Haha! Sorry, I should save this part out for the flailing) is when they were finally back and released an album and announced a concert to top it off! :D :D
Flail about it:
To be honest, while it is true that that is the best moment of my 2012, I couldn't help but feel sad that Ryo and Pi left. I mean, for me, I got to know NEWS because of Ryo. One Litre of Tears was recommended by my friend and I kept procrastinating watching it. When I knew it was a Japanese drama and when our awesome Pharmacology professor mentioned about the Drama in class, it made me curious and I finally watched it on March 2011. At first, to be honest, I was a bit disappointed that the male lead wasn't very handsome (in my opinion, back then. But obviously, now I realize that I was very VERY wrong. Hahaha!). His character rarely smiles in that drama but as the story went on, that moment finally came when he smiled! I was really... Ugh. My heart stopped. It was truly one of the most beautiful smile I have ever seen so far in my life. When I looked up his Facebook page, I noticed that one of my classmates has already liked the page so when I went to class the following day, I decided to ask my classmate about him (cause at that time, all I knew was that he's a very talented Japanese actor). That's when I learned that he actually sings and dances and that he belongs to a band. Well, two bands, for that matter, at that time. Then, that classmate (who is also a close friend of mine, by the way ^^), whose ichiban group is Arashi but also a fan of NEWS because of Tegoshi, let me listen to NEWS songs and showed me the Never Ending Wonderful Story Concert DVD and at that moment, I totally fell for NEWS. I really love their songs. It is so in sync with the type of music that I like (since I'm not so much into "loud, rockish" songs. I do admit that at first, I only pay attention to Ryo. But then, watching their concerts and listening to their songs... I just can't help but love all of the members! At that time, even though they weren't releasing anything already, I hardly felt it cause I'm still new in the fandom and there was still sooo much to take in and discover about them since they debuted. When I watched their old PV's, I finally realized that it is not only Ryo that I loved then. It is NEWS. I began to appreciate all of them. How Yamapi is really cool, how Kei-chan is really matured and responsible and kind, how Shige is actually very patient (despite Ryo's bullying~ I love nishikato!) and intelligent and humble, how Tegoshi, despite his cute bratty side, always gives his best (he hates losing after all ;D) and is very athletic indeed, and his voice.ugh.I.love.his.voice. Then ther's Massu, who, no matter what, I really think that he is so... Bright. He appeals to me in that way. He feels bright and sunny. Haha! Sorry for not being able to explain properly. >< I also like how he is actually s neat freak and the way he almost always smiles while singing.(: Ah! When I was finally done with their old masterpieces, then came the news that Ryo and Pi were leaving. The moment between when they left and before the announcement of the comeback, that was really the worst for me. I actually shed tears because of that (ah! I'm not supposed to talk about the worst, I'm sorry. D;). Then finally!!!! When they announced that they would still continue with four members, I was really suuuuuuper happy!!! It was really!!! I was crying again!! But of course they were out of overjoy this time. Hahaha! At that moment, what I really wanted to do was to support them will everything I've got. I sent them fanletters and since they're doing their best, I thought that I should do mine, too! Haha! So I bought their album because I really want to support them. After that, I also bought Chankapaana, then World Quest. From now on, as long as I have the okane, I'll definitely support them! ^^ <3
