Not altogether the BEST time to have found the inspiration I needed, the idea I needed, to bring back the joy of blogging. But, alas, I will not let the feeling pass. It is really nice of you, I'd like to think that if I found myself in the situation to be able to give something back then I definitely would, but as it is I can really only afford to get the occasional CD/DVD. But it does feel nice to actually be able to own something of the group you like though right? I was lucky enough to win a few shop photos in competitions last year too, and it's so much more special to be able to hold them in your hands rather than just looking on the computer screen :D

Yeah that old fandom was tough :( But at the time I just thought that's how things were, I'm just glad I know better now XD I understand what you mean about the negativity too, but in this fandom I think maybe because the fanbase is so diverse, everyone just accepts that other people might have different tastes/views on things.

I really do feel lucky to be part of this fandom though, like you said everyone is so positive and supportive of each other, and there are really nice people here that are so generous giving their time and effort to make things more understandable for those of us who don't speak Japanese!

Hehe, I just feel silly for not noticing it was linked in the post to begin with >_< If I'd have seen it I'd have come to read it straight away, it's always nice to hear the stories behind nice actions :)

Yes yes yes!! having the things in your hands is so very very special. I have built up a decent collection since I went to Japan in April (and again last week), and I love just looking at it, and flicking through things. It really does make me feel so much closer. And I'm seriously addicted to shop photo shopping haha. It's so fun going through all the new AND old photos. Man if I ever leave this fandom, I'm going to make a fortune just selling those off alone (but I don't think I'll ever leave it to do that). And then you have the favourites in your collection ne? I got Shige's photo book from 2007 for my birthday, it is my prized posession. And I won Koyama's points book in an event last year too, and because of that it is incredibly important to me, and so so cute!! Because it's not always accessible to us, I guess nearly every item in our collection gains a story :P
